Gorlan Mechanical Ltd. is a prime sheetmetal contractor, which has established itself as a leader in the manufacturing and installation of sheetmetal components and HVAC systems to ICI (industrial, commercial, institutional) sector. Since 1969, clients have relied on Gorlan Mechanical Ltd. for a variety of sheetmetal ductwork projects and HVAC solutions.

In 1993, the company joined the Modern group of Companies and became a strategic partner with Modern Mechanical to provide full piping, plumbing and HVAC services. Since this association was established Gorlan's sales volume has increased fourfold and the types of projects have become increasingly varied. We have a fully self-sufficient manufacturing facility and have experience in working with galvanized, stainless steel, PVC, FRP, black steel and aluminum materials.

Gorlan Mechanical has performed work as a sheetmetal subcontractor, as a prime mechanical contractor and as a general contractor. Our projects vary from tenant fitup and service work to new construction and installations for the high tech industry with a specialty in stainless steel ductwork and cleanroom HVAC systems. It is this ability to address our customers needs through our resources and flexibility that has set us apart in the industry and has led to a growing and satisfied list of clients.

Gorlan Mechanical is a member of the Ottawa Construction Association (OCA), the Ontario Sheetmetal Group (OSM), has representation on the Mechanical Contractors Association of Ottawa (MCA Ottawa) board of directors, and is represented in ASHRAE. We are licensed to work in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
