Originally established in 1959 as Modern Mechanical Inc., Modern Niagara Ottawa Inc. is in the mechanical contracting business providing plumbing, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and fire protection services within the industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) construction industry.

The company operates as both a prime mechanical contractor or mechanical subcontractor on tendered and negotiated projects with an emphasis on projects in the one hundred thousand to ten million dollar range. Modern Niagara Ottawa's present focus is on the design / build / maintain business providing mechanical contracting, engineering and value added engineering services.
